For those who missed it, “The Birth of BASIC,” documentary will be shown again Thursday, 5/15/14, 7:00 PM, Loew theater in BVAC. May 1, 2014 marked 50 years since Dartmouth Mathematics Professors John Kemeny and Thomas Kurtz made computing history when they successfully launched the BASIC computer language for the first time, which went on to become the most widely used computer language in the world. Join us for this inspiring (and surprisingly funny) story.
