New iPad App: BrowZine

Check this one out! Dartmouth just started a trial to BrowZine. Here are a few screenshots:

I’m currently off-campus and using the VPN on my iPad. If you’re on campus, you don’t have to worry about logging into the VPN to get access to Dartmouth subscribed resources (it should just work). Also, the resources featured through this app are only a subset of what Dartmouth has access to (think full-text and major publishers).

If you simply download the app and don’t connect it with Dartmouth, you can access a lot of open access content! (We also have this open access content listed in our catalog).

There are so many journals in library science that I didn’t know we subscribed to and now I’ve got a list of articles I need to read! Hurrah for helping me keep up with professional literature!
