LaTeX+CV/Resume Workshop

In December, I challenged you to write your CV/resume in LaTeX. Today (February 4) at 5-6pm, I am holding a workshop in the Kresge Conference Room on polishing your CV/resume and sharing LaTeX formatting tips.

Top 4 Reasons to Attend

  1. Vital for job hunting, internship search or graduate school applications.
  2. Great practice working with LaTeX! When you’re ready to write your thesis, dissertation or first scientific paper, formatting will be a breeze.
  3. Get tips to create the layout you have been dreaming of!
  4. Cookies and chocolate!

For First Time Users

If this is your first time using LaTeX, please make sure your computer has a TeX distribution installed. I will not be troubleshooting installation problems during the session so please click here to get started (warning: this may take a few hours, but don’t let that deter you!).

I will be using TeXworks for this session, but there are tons of editor options. Here’s a sampling of editors that you can download if you don’t like the one that comes with your distribution.
